FREE Electronic/Live Composing & Collaboration course in Glasgow
Featuring top DJ/Production Outfit Tigerstyle and maverick instrumentalist Michael Bryan
6 monthly weekend sessions bringing together young live musicians and electronic composers (aged 14-25) with inspiring professional musicians, finishing with a live performance and demo recording.
Experimenting with live music and electronic production techniques:
- Work with other young people
- Create your own new tracks
- Record a demo
- Put on your own live show
You don't need to play an instrument, you just need a passion for music and a desire to try out your ideas.
Tigerstyle will teach you to use computer software to create music
- for complete beginners
- experienced composers who want to develop their ideas and experiment with live musicians
- and live musicians who want to bring a new dimension to their music
Michael Bryan will bring you together as a collaborative band, helping you share ideas and create an inspiring performance.
You'll also learn about promoting yourself as an artist and routes into the music business.
We're based at 2 fantastic venues:
Multi-arts space the Tramway (25 Albert Dr, Glasgow G41 2PE - next to Pollockshields East train station)
Popular bar and gig venue Stereo (22-28 Renfield Ln, Glasgow, G2 6PH - near Central Station)
