Event Information Buy Tickets

A one-night-only chance to see the ephemeral Ethno England band - a global folk fusion band formed through an intensive week of musical exchange. Traditional music and dance from over 25 countries covering 4 continents, performed by emerging young musicians from around the world.

This June, 25 young musicians will arrive in the UK, bringing their instruments, voices, experiences and cultures with them, to spend a week together exchanging music and building friendships. Over 7 days, each participant will teach the others a piece of traditional music from their culture, and then work together to arrange this collection of music from around the world. By the end of the week, this group of musicians who have never met before will become an ephemeral orchestra, connecting across borders through music.

This is part of the worldwide series of Ethno summer exchanges, which are a unique opportunity for young people from across the globe to come together and engage through music in a manner that is characterised by respect, generosity and openness.
