Event Information Buy Tickets

An interactive and personal journey from the parish through the kailyard to the patio, with David Mitchell.

What has changed and why? Are we missing out today? Did our ancestors know better? Can we learn from the past, and what might greening the parish mean for us today?

Celtic Summer School is inspired by Patrick Geddes, who invented the Summer School in Edinburgh's Old Town, sparking Scotland's cultural renaissance.

Directed by Donald Smith, enjoy the best tutors in informal, experiential and entertaining presentations, with writers, musicians and storytellers on hand to get the creative juices flowing.

Attend for the whole week, single days or individual sessions, choosing your own strands.
