Boasting two choirs (Fishwives and Fisherlassies), the village of Newhaven in North Edinburgh was once described as a Nest of Songbirds. The Newhaven Community Choir and local Primary Schools have been working with The Thrive Archive and storytellers Jan Bee Brown and Mrs. Mash to compose new songs based on their eclectic local history. Join the choirs and The Giddy Kipper Ceilidh Band for a delicious Sunday afternoon stew made of Pirate bones, some decidedly fishy stories, soupy songs and The Willow Tree Waltz!
